ISNetworld | Dallas Office | Areas Nearby to Live
The ISNetworld Dallas Office is in a pretty spectacular location! It’s located in Uptown Dallas. This happens to be the most popular area for young professionals in the entire city! The location is very cool – it’s right in between the West Village section and the McKinney Avenue southern section. And it’s easily walkable to either section!
So, on the days you are at the office, you are going to enjoy some of the best restaurants for lunch. And if you live close, you can have a convenient, WALKABLE lifestyle!!

ISNetworld Dallas Office – Take a look at the great area that your office is!!! This video will show you the wonderful and WALKABLE block that your office is and all that is nearby! Uptown Dallas West Village – This is area of Uptown Dallas that has the most restaurants and shops. And you are in quick walking distance to it from your office! There are actually several videos of this area…watch them all! And watch Part 2 and Part 3 ! WALKING DISTANCE to the office.
McKinney Avenue (South) – Part 1 and Part 2 – McKinney Avenue is the main street that runs through Uptown Dallas. So being close to McKinney Avenue means you always have great things to do! In this video, I’m going to show you the southern section that has a lot of restaurants and night spots that Uptown is famous for. Make sure to watch in the GREAT ATTRACTIONS section BELOW these 2 key things about this area: Uptown Dallas Trolley and Whole Foods! 🙂 WALKING DISTANCE to the office.
Uptown Dallas Pearl Area – This is the next neighborhood that is close to you in Uptown. It’s very nice and has some high caliber restaurants (and apartments). I’m including several videos of this area for you here: A 3 minutes drive from your office.
Victory Park – this is an absolutely fantastic area that has a LOT of all new restaurants, apartments and attractions. This is where the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas stars play. Turtle Creek – This is actually an area directly west of Uptown Dallas but it has an Uptown feel. It’s very green and quieter, but with great access to Uptown Dallas.

AMLI Quadrangle – this is a pretty place that is super close to the office. And has a gorgeous kitchen!
McKinney Uptown – if you want to be in the middle of the fun, this is a superb location!
2660 Cityplace – this is a very fun and walkable apartment with a Kroger next door, Target across the street and at a great price. You can catch the free Uptown trolley nearby here and then it will drop off right next to your office!
Victory Place – this is a very fun high rise in Victory Park!
Skye of Turtle Creek – This is another fun high rise with a direct gate to the Katy Trail. It’s typically much cheaper than other high rise apartments.
THE VILLAGE – This is not only an area to consider, but it also has about 18 different apartment complexes to choose from! Our video shows their common amenities, so no matter where you live in The Village, you would have free access to the gym, pool, golf, etc!

McKinney Avenue – this is the main street that goes through Uptown Dallas. Lots of restaurants and night life here. You can access all of McKinney Avenue easily by walking or by using the free Uptown Trolley (see below)>
Whole Foods in Uptown Dallas – hey, Whole Foods is a big deal around here! Here’s the one on McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas
Uptown Dallas Trolley | MATA – This is a FUN part of being in Uptown Dallas! It’s a free (donation-based) trolley like they have in San Francisco. It goes all along McKinney Avenue – the main street of Uptown. It goes all the way to the West Village to the north, and then runs through Uptown to end up in Downtown Dallas. It runs every day and for some days it runs late into the night. So it makes an easy way to get around Uptown for essentially free, no Uber needed!
Katy Trail | Uptown Dallas – This is an incredible 3.6 mile running trail that starts in Victory Park and goes throughout Uptown and north of it to the Knox area. It’s a great way to get a workout and a fun social scene too. There’s always a lot of young professionals on the trail at almost any time of the day. Living near the trail is a HUGE PLUS! Watch part 2 and part 3 too!
Katy Trail Ice House – This is a very popular eating place and night spot that is right off the Katy Trail.
Klyde Warren Park – This is a VERY fun park that is in between Downtown and Uptown Dallas. It was built on top of a freeway! Great place to relax and even try out a great food truck or two. Watch part 2 also!
Tom Thumb in Victory Park – And they are a big deal here too! This is the one in Victory Park! Check it out with me as I visit these.
American Airlines Center – This is the super cool home of the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars and a ton of events and concerts! It’s in the Victory Park area. It’s a huge plus of living in the area – to be so close to this incredible venue! PART 1 VIDEO shows off the outer part of it and the nearby neighborhood. PART 2 VIDEO shows what it’s like where there is an even there – this was fun!
Dallas Arts District – This is the area of downtown that is right nearby the office and has many of the best arts attractions of Dallas, including the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Symphony and more.
Additional Areas to Live Nearby
There are also other areas nearby the office that are popular. While they are not as close to the office to walk to, they are also worth considering:
The Village – this is a SUPER POPULAR AREA! It’s about 12-15 minutes from work. It’s like a self contained small city, with a super cool coffee bar, 2 story fitness center, amazing pool and more. Great place to work from home when you aren’t in the office – they have quiet areas.
Lower Greenville – This is a large area that is basically northeast of the office (east of 75). It has some great pockets to enjoy and has good restaurants and night life along Greenville Avenue.
Trinity Groves – This is a revitalized area that is west of downtown that has a lot of newer apartments.
Downtown Dallas – Downtown is also always an option. There tend to be more older buildings here (lofts) and also some newer mid rises.
Design District/Oak Lawn – these are areas that are north west of Downtown Dallas. They do have some recently built apartments as well.
Apartment Search Tips!
Finding an apartment in Dallas lately is quite challenging! I’ve put some tips below to help make that process easier for you!
- Start your search as early as possible – even 6-9 months in advance!
- Extend your search area focus to be wider than normal, to include multiple areas.
- Be ready to apply early to lock in better rent values for your move in date.
- Consider having a roommate to reduce costs. The cost per bedroom is cheaper for 2 bedrooms vs. a one bedroom.
