HOUSTON MOST POPULAR AREAS
The most popular areas for recent grads are in the INNER LOOP near Downtown. The Inner Loop is Inner loop 610 in Houston. These areas are super close to Downtown Houston and have a large amount of restaurants, attractions and night spots to check out. Most of the popular areas are WEST of Downtown, with the exception of an up and coming area east of downtown called EADO (East Downtown). The WOODLANDS area north of Downtown is an exceptionally green and fun area to live as well!

AUSTIN MOST POPULAR AREAS
Austin is the most diverse of all three cities, so they have wide spread areas that are popular! The areas nearest Downtown Austin tend to be the most popular, including Downtown and Zilker Park. However, traffic waits can be very long in Austin even though the area is not that big. 35 in particular backs up a lot! So if your work is far away from downtown, you might consider areas closer to your work.
- Zilker Park and nearby (south of Ladybird and downtown, west of 35) is by far the #1 area!
- Downtown Austin near Ladybird
- Areas just north of Downtown but not in the UT area.
- Domain (North Austin)
- Near Mopac (Northwest Austin)
- Muller (in East Austin)
- West Austin/Bee Caves – for great greenery!
DALLAS MOST POPULAR AREAS
Uptown Dallas is the most popular area for recent and new grads in Dallas. There are some great neighborhoods near that area that have their own appeal and are also popular, like Lower Greenville/Knox, and Deep Ellum and Trinity Groves. The West Plano area is becoming more and more popular as well due to the amazing Legacy West area, the Boardwalk area in Frisco, the Star and other nearby areas.
