Grant’s direct answer
Use the apartment community’s official application, upload portal, or screening system whenever possible. If a leasing agent asks for a driver’s-license copy, offer letter, bank statement, or other sensitive file by ordinary email, Grant prefers asking whether the document can instead be uploaded through the property’s approved secure process. Social Security numbers and similar highly sensitive information should remain inside legitimate screening systems rather than ordinary email, text, or informal notes. HomeBase’s role is to help the renter use the property’s real process and avoid unnecessary exposure of personal information.
Explore related apartment guides and city and neighborhood information. Rental prices, availability, office locations and incentives can change; confirm time-sensitive details before making a decision.
